Rebeca Rocha, LCSW, PhD
Accepting new supervisees
I am originally from Brazil, I have a multiracial identity, and I speak Portuguese and Spanish. I live and practice in Portland, Oregon.
I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2020, with nearly 15 years as a master's-level psychotherapist — outpatient therapy, crisis services, community work with Transitional Age Youth living with serious mental illness, shelters for unaccompanied immigrant youth, a foster program for immigrant and refugee youth, and a domestic violence shelter. Those settings shaped how I supervise.
I run a private practice offering trauma-focused therapy to people from historically marginalized communities. My focus is trauma, attachment wounds including adoptees and former foster youth, intergenerational trauma, cultural identity, anxiety, depression, and the effects of marginalization and systemic oppression.
I am an EMDR Certified Therapist and an EMDR Consultant-in-Training, with in-depth training in Mindfulness and Somatic Experiencing. My work is also informed by DBT, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing and Liberation Psychology.
My supervision is collaborative, strengths-based, culturally responsive and anti-oppressive. I help clinicians build strong clinical foundations while bringing cultural humility and trauma-informed practice into the work.
I provide supervision toward Oregon licensure for Clinical Social Work Associates and Professional Counselor Associates. If you would like to see whether we are a good fit, I offer a free consultation.
