Hello! I'm La (she/her), I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Vancouver, WA. I received my license in 2022, following years of experience working in intimate partner violence services, medical settings, and community mental health. I’m currently in private practice, providing individual counseling to adults of all backgrounds, with a particular focus on serving clients from communities of color.

I’m deeply grateful for the supervisors who’ve shaped my journey, and I’m excited to support others in their supervision path. My goal as a clinical supervisor is to foster a collaborative, supportive, and intentional relationship that focuses on your professional growth, ethics, competence development, and your identity as a social worker.

Areas of experience include racial and cultural identity, intergenerational trauma, and the challenges of navigating multicultural and bicultural worlds, including the complexities of living at the intersections of multiple identities. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, Narrative, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, and Self-Compassion. My approach is grounded in inclusivity, cultural humility, social justice, and anti-oppressive values, with an emphasis on creating a compassionate and affirming space for each person’s unique experiences and identities.
